This is an aluminum block designed to hold certain rifles in their take-down configuration. It comes with 1 take down pin and 1 pivot pin already installed; thus, this is ready to secure your upper and lower receivers.
It is designed to keep the bolt of the upper receiver in place while the rifle is taken down. A person can add a cable lock and secure the rifle during transport or storage. This makes carrying in a case or back pack more secure by keeping all the parts of the rifle locked together.
Great for bug-out bags and survival kits.
This is made to be lightweight and is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum.
